God has begun to move our hearts to form a men’s fellowship here at Calvary Chapel. Our purposes are straightforward and biblical:

  • to encourage men to live fruitful, productive lives for Christ.

Luke 19:13 “And he called his ten servants,… and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”

John 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

  • to stimulate continuing growth in spiritual graces.

1 Peter 1:5 “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;”

2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and in all knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ…”

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

  • to promote Christian service.

Galatians 5:13 “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

Romans 12:1 “I beesech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

  • to provide godly fellowship with like-minded disciples.

Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpenth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Hebrews 10:24 “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:”

1 Peter 4:10 “As every man hath received his gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
